Jaywick, 2022
On 6/7th August 2022 I visited the beaches of Jaywick Sands to make portraits of the community and its visitors using 10 x 8” Polaroid film. This is a project loosely based on a re-working of the Victorian Beach Photographer and is, increasingly, about positive interactions and conversations.
On 6/7th August 2022 I visited the beaches of Jaywick Sands to make portraits of the community and its visitors using 10 x 8” Polaroid film. This is a project loosely based on a re-working of the Victorian Beach Photographer and is, increasingly, about positive interactions and conversations.
The resulting film and photographs were displayed at the Jaywick Martello tower in September 2022. This project was supported by the Essex Arts and Cultural Fund.
